8/10/09 – Brief update.

Today we were supposed to go to Nara for some sight-seeing but because of the rain we stayed local. We went to a restaurant called Babyface Planets that served “sumo-sized” portions. After that, we went to a couple of stores and then spent the rest of the afternoon at my host family’s house (the Yamamotos). For dinner we went to Kashima-san’s house. We had a sweet time of fellowship and got to hear testimonies from some of the Inochi members.

Thanks for praying for Doi Sensei. He went to the hospital briefly this morning. It turned out that he has kidney stones. He feels a lot better and is taking medication for it. The stones still need to pass so please continue to pray for him.
