Our return to normal gathering capacity following COVID-19 Safer At Home restrictions will come in phases in accordance with CA State, LA County, and LA City guidelines.

We are currently limited to a capacity of 25% of our meeting space. As such, we have implemented a rotating invite list to comply with the guidlines. We anticipate that as the restrictions loosen, we will also broaden our attendence. If you would like to attend, please complete our contact form and we will let you know our availability.

Maximizing Safety / Minimizing Risk Guidelines

  1. Home: Stay home and do not attend church in person if you or family members are exhibiting even mild symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, etc). Exercise conservative caution related to illness symptoms. Even if you think your symptoms are mild, please stay home until you are fully well. If church attendees are exhibiting symptoms, they could be asked to isolate themselves and/or to return home.
  2. Temperature: Please check temperatures for all family members prior to arriving to church.
  3. Family members: Consider staying home if you or family members are in a higher risk group (Per CDC guidelines, people who meet the following conditions are considered higher risk for COVID-19: Aged 65 years and older; Immunocompromised; Asthma; Chronic Kidney Disease; Chronic Lung Disease; Diabetes; Hemoglobin Disorders; Liver Disease; Serious heart conditions; Severe obesity).
  4. Hygiene: Wash and watch your hands. Properly disinfect your hands (washing with soap and water for 20 seconds or disinfecting with a water-based hand gel) and avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth. Hand hygiene and hand discipline are the most effective ways to prevent infection.
  5. Physical contact: No hugs or handshakes.
  6. Distancing: Maintain social distancing (6 feet or more distance from other people) and wear a face covering.

Entering the Church

  • Cleanliness: Individuals and families are expected to practice cleanliness before coming to church and own their own personal hygiene products for their own disinfectant use.
    • Items: Masks. Hand sanitizers. Gloves. Etc.
  • Masks: The wearing of masks is mandatory when in service. The church will try to have extras on hand in case people forget. You will not be allowed to enter the service if you do not have a mask on.
  • Hand sanitizers / Disinfectant wipes: There will be hand sanitizers stations and disinfectant wipes available but in limited amounts. Please use as needed economically.

  • Please allow an usher to seat you
  • Families can all sit together

During Service

  • Required: Masks are to be worn at all times while in service
  • Singing:  Masks are especially to be worn during singing as the risk of droplets becoming airborne are higher during this time.

End of Service Dismissal

  • Ushers: The ushers will dismiss by rows starting from the back row
  • Seated: Please remain seated until dismissed
  • Exit: Please exit through the main doors only when dismissed and move away from the Sanctuary to engage in Fellowship to allow for distancing
  • Note: An orderly dismissal will allow the clean-up crew to commence and end in an efficient manner

After Service

  • Fellowship
    • Groups: Please limit group size to no larger than 8
    • Distancing: Please adhere to distancing rules when fellowshipping after church
    • Masks: Masks should be worn at all times when speaking to one another

  • Cleanliness: The restrooms will be cleaned before, once during, and after the main service
  • Usage:  Please limit usage to need as much as can be done. Less frequency will make for ease of cleaning.
  • Number: As best as you can, try to limit the number of individuals in a bathroom to 2 at a time.

Childcare / Second Hour

  • Childcare: No childcare will be provided during service times
  • Equip Hour / Fellowship Groups:
    • No additional meetings will be held at the church at this time after the main service.
    • This could change as we get more information and restrictions are lightened.

Please be considerate if an usher or anyone else from the church requests you to adhere to the guidelines as noted. Your patience would be very helpful during these times as we adjust to a new normal.
