VBS 2014 Day 4

Ok, I may sound like a broken record, but this week is going so fast!  Today’s theme: God saves, so trust God.  It seemed the consensus among the staff that we could not believe there was only one day left.  Each day has been full of its own adventures and “you had to be there” moments, from Soo-Jin and Anny doing an impromptu dance routine, the youth group skits that get even more entertaining every day, the return of Japanese Moses (and Malachi), and what has turned into routine occurrence of Anny getting soaked by the kids and staff.  The pictures just don’t do it justice- but let’s just say there’s a few videos floating out there if you ask the right person.  Well, enough of my rambling, on to the pictures!

The kids really pick up fast, especially learning the songs and hand motions:

You don’t have to be afraid…

…you can trust God.

The skit, including the introduction of the Creepers, which somehow are scared away by stinky cheese and a doorknob.  And, a recurring theme of breaking out into dance at the end.  Matthew’s standing worm stole the show.

Creepers

Games…it was a hot day.  So we played Blue Whale and Cloth Wring relay.

But it wouldn’t be a game time without Anny getting ambushed again.  This time she tried to hide behind Soo-Jin.

Not such a great idea…

But it’s ok, just dance it off.

…and get your revenge.

Or just ambush someone else…

Day 4 done!  Many questions to be answered on Friday…
Will Anny get soaked for a third day in a row?  Will the Creepers return?  What nationality will Moses be on Friday?  Tune in and find out on our final episode of IBC VBS 2014…
