Sunday Classes

Nursery (ages 1 to 2) 

9:00 am – 10:30 am

Drop off prior to service in the Education building, room #102

Nursery is available for parents with young children during service. We have two classes—N1 for one year olds and N2 for two year olds. Due to class size limitations and safety policies, children must be 1 years old on or before Dec. 31 to enter N1. Eligibility re-opens on promotion day, which is the first Sunday of July.

Junior Children’s Church (Preschool-Pre-K)

9:00 am – 10:30 am

Drop off prior to service in the Education building, room #101

For children in preschool and pre-K (typically ages 3-4), we hold a special praise, craft, and Bible curriculum time called Junior Children’s Church. This curriculum and structure prepares the youngsters for Sunday worship and Children’s Church.

Big Church – Children’s Church (K – 5th grade)

9:00 am – 10:30 am

Drop off prior to service in the Education building, room #105 to attend Big Church.

Children’s Church is a kids oriented service geared to continue worship in song, praise, and teaching in the Word. Generations of Grace curriculum is used in a group setting with later break out sessions for crafts and inductive Bible study.

Sunday School – Children’s Church Grade Level Classes (K – 5th grade)

11:15 am – 12:15 am

Children’s grade level classes (Sunday School) covering the curriculum theme discussed during Big Church. Classes held in various rooms in the Education Building.

At 11:15am, have your child line-up in front of the Education Building. Children will be led to assigned room for Sunday School lesson.

At 12:15am, children will be brought back to front of the Education building for release/pick-up (please be prompt).


All volunteers are screened and selected by the Children’s Ministry Deacon and Elders. To be a volunteer, the following must be done:

1. Member in good standing for 6 months along with a reference
2. Pass a background check
3. Complete Child Safety Training Videos and Quiz
4. Participate in IBC Teacher Training session

Volunteer Expectations:
– Loving the children as Christ loves them
– Setting an example of proper Christian conduct in the way we live our lives
– Ministering to children
– Pointing to Christ for Salvation
